Il 14 dicembre sarà una data chiave per i movimenti sociali del nostro paese: il giorno in cui tutti i soggetti oppressi dalle politiche dei tagli, della privatizzazione e della repressione assedieranno Montecitorio per sfiduciare questo government. A government that, in line with the policies of previous governments, it attacks the rights of workers and temporary workers, dismantles the university and public schools, privatization of the commons. A government saving and private banks, presenting the account of the crisis - that these banks and these same individuals have caused - migrants, women, students, workers and workers of this country.
For us students, and students, victims of a deep and widespread discomfort that goes far beyond the contents of the reform Gelmini, this date takes on a double importance: after days of mobilization against a bill that gives the blow di grazia all’università pubblica, giorni che hanno visto migliaia di studenti bloccare intere città in tutta Italia, il voto al senato è stato rinviato a dopo la votazione della (s)fiducia. Una piccola grande vittoria per il movimento, che dimostra come le pressioni sociali possano puntare a ottenere dei risultati concreti e addirittura influenzare l’agenda politica.
Nonostante questa vittoria, le mobilitazioni nelle università e nelle scuole non rallentano, continuano le occupazioni e le iniziative di riflessione politica in vista del 14 dicembre. Hiding behind a crucial date for the political life of our country, a choice as fundamental to the future of the University of Rome 3, is the result of a sinister tactics that we will not pass over in silence.
The position of chancellor than the Gelmini reform has long been known, not only in the light of his statements - the latest on the Reform published a week ago - which detracts and denigrate the protests of students and researchers on the roofs of three universities in Rome, but also for his refusal to communicate with other souls of the university, seeking shelter under the shadow of national politics. The objective of Fabiani is in fact to push the status of the foundation by the ministry, and before this reform this government to fall, putting students and faculty with a fait accompli. It is clear therefore that the position of our university rector on policies is fully in line with the bill Gelmini that we oppose all along.
Intendiamo denunciare le politiche di controllo e di silenziamento del rettore nei confronti delle proteste portate avanti da studenti e ricercatrici: le bacheche rese inagibili tramite vetrate e lucchetti, le telecamere da grande fratello spuntate magicamente nelle facoltà mobilitate non riusciranno a spegnere il conflitto degli studenti che oggi più che mai chiedono a gran voce una revisione strutturale del modo di funzionare dell'università!
Le occupazioni di questi giorni parlano di un'altra università in movimento, fatta dalle studentesse, dagli studenti e dai loro desideri di conoscenza, non asservibili agli interessi di mercato: ed è a partire da questa esperienza piena di occupazione e di autogestione nella nostra università che ci sentiamo di rivolgere un invito alla relazione a tutti quei soggetti che in questi anni, e in particolare in queste settimane, si sono battuti per il carattere pubblico dell'istruzione e della cultura in genere: a partire dagli studenti del mondo della scuola, colpito dalla furia devastatrice delle riforme Moratti e Gelmini, passando per i lavoratori precari della cultura e dello spettacolo che, già privi di diritti, sono vittime dei tagli al Fondo Unico per lo Spettacolo, per arrivare ai ricercatori e ai docenti precari.
E' tempo di smettere di abbassare la testa! Non basta dimostrare la contrarietà alla Gelmini e al governo Berlusconi, we need to recover the speech and the right to decide. We demand another training and the right to decide our training because we believe that the fragmentation and fragmentation of knowledge produces nothing but insecurity and control.
support the right to self- and self-teaching and research through initiatives, discussions, workshops, seminars, self-managed, parties, reappropriation of social space and continuously refused to report these reforms. Our training goes through these first moments, the living knowledge that we produce is not reducible to a commodity or measured in units of time and credits!
Il 14 dicembre siamo pronti a ribadire la nostra sfiducia a questo governo e, in generale, a tutti i governi che vorranno portare avanti queste politiche, assieme a tutti i soggetti oppressi del mondo della cultura e del mondo del lavoro. La nostra protesta non potrà non investire anche il rettore Fabiani, che di queste politiche si fa promotore attraverso i suoi progetti di fondazione privata e di scuola d'eccellenza, regalando Roma3 ai privati e accentuando ancor più le differenze di classe al suo interno. Lanciamo quindi un'assemblea plenaria di preparazione al giorno della sfiducia, il 13 dicembre nella facoltà di Giurisprudenza di Roma3, invitando alla partecipazione le studentesse e gli studenti degli altri atenei fighting, school students, temporary workers and researchers, teachers.
