Parte anche quest'anno l'appuntamento con il cineforum ! Prima proiezione è Draquila , documentario realizzato da Sabrina Guzzanti che indaga la politica e la gestione dell'emergenza del terremoto dell'Aquila del 2009.

Nel 2003 consegue l'esame di Solfeggio e Teoria musicale presso il conservatorio "Niccolò Piccinni" di Bari sotto la guida dell'insegnante Agnese Festa e successivamente l'esame complementare di Pianoforte sotto la guida dell'insegnante Giovanna Mastropasqua. All'età di 17 anni entra a far parte dell'orchestra "Pelagus Mauro Giuliani", con cui suonerà per 2 anni. Giunto all'età di 19 anni si trasferisce a Bologna per studio, iscrivendosi all'indirizzo di Design Grafico presso l'Accademia di Bella Arti. Sin da subito, nella sua permanenza a Bologna, incontra alcuni giovani suonatori di musiche tradizionali del Sud Italia e proprio con loro approfondisce il suo percorso (iniziato in realtà alcuni anni prima) di scambio e scoperta delle tradizioni del Sud Italia. Inizia a frequentare feste tradizionali per osservare e apprendere da vicino la tradizione, dilettandosi subito nello studio del tamburello (apprendendone le tecniche tradizionali di molte zone del sud Italia), della fisarmonica, dell'organetto and swing guitar.
