In Italy was launched a 'initiative almost' unique: a public telephone service d 'listening and' targeted assistance to the citizens, called Viola.Tale Telephone service is offered by volunteers of different ages and different intertessi: students, researchers, practitioners of social and health sectors, with the 'support of some doctors and lawyers. All, however, sensitive to issues arising from matters relating to psychiatry and the social and psychological problems often all 'source of many difficult situations in this area.
Viola Telephone operators work entirely voluntary and outside of any preconceived ways of knowing or professional competence, but they will remain constantly on alert to 'aspect of civil rights.
