Crack, recession, the market out of control , cuts, redundancies: these are the terms that returned obsessively in newspapers and on television, fragments of a speech on the crisis. Who wants to govern, who for years claimed to have the theoretical and practical tools to ensure the "New World Order" of capitalism after 1989, now in darkness, and downloads on the lower classes costs frightening a mode of production based on exploitation, destruction and oppression. In response to this economy seemingly "crazy", we see rising worldwide social movements are calling for radical change.
London Calling. Si pensi ai milioni di migranti in fuga dalle loro terre per la mera sopravvivenza: a loro è negato tutto, anche la compassione per le “tragedie del mare”... che non fanno notizia. Anche qui siamo di fronte ad una “delimitazione del campo” che è funzionale agli interessi economici della borghesia internazionale: attraverso severi regolamenti, quote di accesso, espulsioni, si tratta di rendere i migranti ricattabili e dunque più sfruttabili ancora.
Le forze dell'ordine e gli eserciti lavorano assieme per difendere il fronte esterno e mantenere “ordinato” e “pulito” quello interno (si pensi alla missione Frontex, che prevede il pattugliamento dei confini UE, o ai progetti di militarizzazione urbana portati avanti proprio dalla NATO). È così che nelle nostre metropoli i meccanismi di repressione, controllo e disciplinamento generalize: the goal is to break down the class, allow each to himself. Come a Londra e a Strasburgo, roviniamogli la festa!
La crisi sta rapidamente producendo cambiamenti nei comportamenti sociali: sta a noi far sì che questa rabbia non sia incanalata nella guerra tra poveri, nel razzismo, nella caccia al “diverso”, ma produca una conflittualità sociale più avanzata.
